The Rockwell Automation 45 LMS Laser measurement sensor is available in a variety of measuring ranges. The discrete and analog outputs can be easily set using the 5-step rotary switch and the push button. Potential applications include object position (analog output) and object detection (background suppression with discrete output).This sensor utilizes the Time of Flight (ToF) principle and has a relatively small beam spot even at 15 m away.
